Rev. Les Cool has served the E.C. Church since 1988: Minister of Youth and Christian Education at Lancaster Grace, church planting in Delaware, and most recently as our National Conference’s first Church Planting Associate. Pastor Les brings to Akron Grace over two decades of training and experience in small group ministries, pulpit and classroom experience, and a passion for God’s people.

His wife Carol brings a lifetime of chasing after God and investing in other people. Carol has been published in several Christian magazines and journals, some internationally. Most recently, Carol has been taking her passion on the road, serving as a conference and retreat speaker and trainer for writers.

Together, they flesh out the gifts of mercy and hospitality, using both to develop relationships for Kingdom growth.

Rev. Steve Holubec has been the Associate Pastor at Akron Grace E. C. Church since May of 2007. Pastor Steve has served two of our churces in the Reading Area. His area of expertise has been in Youth Ministry. He comes to us with a broadened ministry of responsiblities. He and Pastor Les share the preaching ministry with the Associate Pastor preaching at least once a month.
Pastor Steve at the present time is single but is enguaged to be married in 2008.

Our Helping Hands Day Care Director is Mrs. Sabrina Dowlin. Sabrina has been the director of Helping Hands since the spring of 2007. She had been our Administrative Assistant for a number of years.
Sabrina is married to Edward Dowlin, Jr. and they have a son whose name is Freedom.

Our Administrative Assistant is Mrs. Kim Warner. Kim has been with us since the spring of 2007. She serves our church and the Helping Hands Day Care.
Kim is a member of Ephrata Grace E.C. where she serves in the Discipling Others Ministry, helps lead the youth group and is the church's Treasurer. She is also active in community outreach events. Kim lives with her husband, Ron in Denver.
